The Registrar, pursuant to Companies Act, 2019 (Act 992) and Section 153 of the Corporate Insolvency and Restructuring Act, 2020 (Act 1015) established the Division. The Corporate Insolvency and Restructuring Act repealed the Bodies Corporate (Official Liquidations) Act, 1963 (Act 180).
Applicable when a company has ceased operations, dormant and has no liabilities.
