The Office of the Registrar of Companies (ORC), led by the Registrar of Companies, Mrs. Maame Samma Peprah, joined key public and private sector stakeholders at the official launch of the Kwahu Business Advisory Association (KBAA), an initiative aimed at strengthening organized business support in the Kwahu area.
Held under the theme “A Collective Voice for Enterprise: Kwahu Advocacy in Policy and Trade”, the ceremony marked a major step toward building a unified platform for business advocacy and development, bringing together traditional leaders, business executives, entrepreneurs, and representatives of relevant institutions.
A highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of the association’s official registration certificate by the Registrar of Companies, formally recognizing the KBAA as a legal entity authorized to operate within Ghana’s regulatory framework and emphasizing the importance of formalization for organized business groups.
Speaking at the event, Mrs. Peprah explained that the registration demonstrates the Office’s commitment to supporting business associations and promoting regulatory compliance as a foundation for national economic development, noting that properly registered associations are better positioned to advocate for their members and attract strategic partnerships.
The Kwahu Business Advisory Association is a non-partisan, non-profit, policy-oriented body established to unite business owners, executives, and enterprise leaders across the Kwahu enclave into a structured platform for coordinated advocacy with government, traditional authorities, financial institutions, and international partners. The ceremony concluded with the unveiling of the association’s logo and the introduction of its Managing Board.
