Highlights from the inauguration show Finance Minister, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, officially inaugurating the Governing Board of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Ghana, in Accra.
Dr. Forson urged the board to restore public trust, act with integrity, and ensure accountability in the country’s capital markets. He emphasized the importance of protecting investors, promoting transparency, and safeguarding the stability of the financial sector.
The newly inaugurated board is chaired by Dr. Adu Anane Antwi and includes members such as Dr. James Klutse Avedzi, Ms. Maame Samma Peprah (Ag. Registrar of Companies), and other key professionals committed to strengthening Ghana’s financial landscape.
