Incorporated Private Partnerships Act, 1962 (Act 152)

A Partnership is made up of a minimum of two and a maximum of twenty persons who engage in profit making business. Their relationship is determined by a Partnership Agreement duly signed by all partners and stamped at the Lands Commission, Valuation Division (LCVD).

Procedure for registration

  • A search for availability of the name must be conducted
  • Applicant may purchase and complete Form B for Incorporation of the Partnership from the in-house bank or download
  • Attach stamped Partnership agreement from the Lands Commission, Valuation Division (LCVD)
  • Submit completed and signed forms together with the Partnership Agreement at the Partnership Registration Counter for Verification and Capturing
  • Pay a processing fee of GHS 270 at the in-house bank
  • VIP service cost of GHS 790 in addition to the processing fees (optional)
  • Registrar Examines, Approves and Issues: Certificate of Incorporation, Certified True Copy(CTC) of Form B
  • Mandatory renewal of registered name each year at a fee of GHS 100 ( or pay by using USSD *222#)
