Snapshots from the cybersecurity session show the Office of the Registrar of Companies (ORC) organizing a staff training on Tuesday, 27th May 2025, as part of Cybersecurity and Data Protection Awareness Week.
The hybrid session, attended by staff both in-person and virtually, aimed to improve awareness on protecting personal and organizational data. Mrs. Maame Samma Peprah, the Acting Registrar of Companies, delivered the keynote address, stressing the importance of cybersecurity and compliance with data protection regulations.
Facilitators from the Data Protection Commission and Cybersecurity Authority shared practical tips on safe internet use, data privacy, and common cyber threats. The interactive training helped staff understand key principles of cybersecurity and data protection, and was appreciated for its relevance in today’s digital work environment.
