A delegation from the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GNCCI), led by its President, Mr. Stephane Meizan, has paid a courtesy call on the Registrar of Companies, Mrs.Maame Samma Peprah at her office in Accra to strengthen the existing collaboration between the two institutions.
The visit focused on enhancing cooperation to support businesses through joint sensitization initiatives and compliance support. Key among the discussions was a proposed engagement between the Office of the Registrar of Companies (ORC) and GNCCI’s membership to deepen awareness of the ORC’s mandate, services, and regulatory requirements for businesses.

Both institutions also explored plans to collaborate on business clinics and sensitization workshops across GNCCI’s Regional Chambers. The initiative is aimed at improving corporate compliance and ensuring that businesses across the country are well informed about registration and regulatory obligations.
The GNCCI delegation included Mrs. Emeilia Assiakwa, 1st Vice President; Mr. Alexander Bogney Bewong, 2nd Vice President; Mr. Mark Badu-Aboagye, Chief Executive Officer; Dr. Stephen Oteng, Head of Finance and Administration; and Mrs. Grace Akosua Dzeble, Head of Marketing.
The meeting reaffirmed the shared commitment of the two institutions to promote a compliant and business-friendly environment. Both parties expressed optimism about a productive partnership that will benefit the private sector and strengthen regulatory awareness nationwide.
